Bay Area card shows
The East Bay Card Show runs several times a year, and despite the name its stops are on the Peninsula and in the South Bay: the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, the San Mateo County Event Center and the Santa Clara Convention Center. The Silicon Valley Cards & Collectibles Show sets up at the Westgate Center mall in San Jose every month, and the TCGverse Card Show, mostly Pokémon, is a monthly weekend show at the Civic Park Assembly Hall in Walnut Creek. The San Francisco Card Show comes to the South San Francisco Conference Center several times a year, and the Maximum Card Show and Collectors Expo Bay Area each stop at the Santa Clara Convention Center once a year. Dates move, so check each show’s site before you go.

RNG Therapy Card Lounge in San Jose stocks Pokémon in English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese, and Akiba HQ in Hayward carries Japanese Pokémon next to its anime and Gundam stock. The Redwood City and Fremont Game Kastle stores, Games of Concord and Anime Imports & CCG Center in Pacifica stay open until midnight on Fridays. Toby’s Board Game Club in Cupertino is open until 11 PM every day but Tuesday, and Dogpatch Games in San Francisco and RedHeartTCG in South San Francisco are open until 10 PM every night.
