Dragon’s Lair on Anderson Lane turns 40 this year, and CardVault by Tom Brady opened downtown in May 2026. Austin card shows
Austin has a show most weekends. ATX Card Show Weekend comes to the Hilton downtown every couple of months, the Home Town Card Show rotates between hotels in Austin and Pflugerville, and Kenny’s Collectibles hosts the monthly Bat City Sports Card Show. These are the ones running as of fall 2026. Dates move, so check each show’s site before you go.

Free TCG shows run by Home Town Cards & Collectibles, usually two or three a month at rotating Austin and Pflugerville hotels. Shows run about 40 tables at the Holiday Inn and up to 120 in Pflugerville.

Where can I sell cards in Austin?
For sports cards, start with Card Traders of Austin. For Pokémon and other TCGs, Bandito’s pays 65 to 80 percent of TCGplayer sold prices and takes large collections by appointment, and Home Town Cards & Collectibles, Mothership Books and Games, Multiverse Hobbies and Castillo’s Collectibles in Elgin all buy. Which Austin card shops sell Pokémon cards?
Bandito’s is an official Play! Pokémon store with weekly league play. Home Town Cards, Mothership, PixelHaven and Space Goblin all stock Pokémon singles, and the Pokemaniacs stores at Lakeline Mall and the San Marcos outlets sell nothing but Pokémon.
Can I get cards graded in Austin?
We didn’t find an Austin shop that says on its own site that it takes PSA or other grading submissions in store. Ask at the sports card shops, or send cards in yourself. See how to ship cards for grading and what grading costs.
Is there a card shop open late in Austin?
Several. Bat City Games & Comics and Mothership are open until 10 PM every day, Dragon’s Lair until 10 or 11 PM, and Pat’s Games until 10:30 PM Tuesday through Friday. Home Town Cards stays open until 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
